Q Where can I purchase the products?

A

Please purchase them at any Defi retailers.  If you don’t find any retailers in your area, please contact
Defi’s official distribuor for your area. If they do not have them in stock, please make an order. Unfortunatelly, we do not sell our products online or directly because the installation requires wiring work.

Q Can I purchase discontinued products?

A

Discontinued products are not available for purchase as we do not sell or ship them. However, it may be available for purchase if the distributors have them in stock.

Q I want to check the availability of stock and delivery date.

A

Please check with your local Defi retailer or Defi’s official distributor where you plan to purchase the product.

Q Is it possible to purchase the models of end of production?

A

You could be able to puchase a model that is no longer in production depending on the availability of distributors and dealer. Please check with your dealer.

Q I am a supplyer, can I buy directly from Defi?

A

We do not sell directly from Defi. Please contact Defi’s official distributor for your area.

Q Is it possible to purchase directly from Defi if there is no dealer nearby, the local dealer is out of stock, or has a long way to go before the product arrives?

A

We do not sell directly to customers. Please contact Defi retailer or Defi’s official distributor.

Q Which parts can be purchased separately?

A

Please use our parts search.
The meter itself cannot be purchased separately (not available as a part).

Q I lost my instruction manual. Can I get it?

A

Please refer to the instruction manual as data is available on this website (PDF data).

Q Are the components of the ADVANCE and Defi-Link systems the same?

A

Sensors other than the turbo sensor (temperature, pressure, exhaust temperature) are common. However, other parts (sensor wire, meter wire, control unit, etc.) are not compatible.

Q I want to know the part number.

A

Q I want to see how the producs actually work and how it is installed to the vehicle.

Q I would like to find parts that will fit, but I don’t know which product I am using. (Defi-Link or ADVANCE system?)

How to identify the product number

The QR sticker on the back of the product shows the product number starting with DF.

Q At atmospheric pressure, the turbo gauge is slightly off from the zero position.

A

Zero point reset (offset adjustment) is available for ADVANCE Turbo gauges 2.0, 1.2, and Intake manifold gauges.
Please refer to the offset adjustment procedure of the ADVANCE Control Unit instruction manual.
If there still seems to be a large discrepancy, please contact our Customer Service Center.

Q Can the LED color be changed?

A

Color change is not possible because some parts cannot be put back together once the gauge is disassembled. Also, we do not offer custom-made products.

Q How much is the labor charge? Is it included in the listed price?

A

It varies depending on the model and quantity of the product to be installed and the store whrere it is installed.
Labor charge is not included but product prices in the price list on this website. Please check with the store where the product is installed.

Q Can it be installed by an individual?
Can I install it myself?

A

No. Installation requires knowledge, skills, tools, etc., and cannot be done by individuals.
We are not responsible for any accidents that may occur during installation if the product is installed by individuals. Also, we do not guarantee the product in this case. Please make sure to ask your dealer to have it installed.

Q What else do I need to install the product?

A

Installation requires knowledge, skills, and tools. Please note that personal installation is not covered by the warranty.
For parts, please refer to the page for parts that need to be purchased separately.

Q Do you support computer modified cars (ROM replacement, modification)?

A

Some cases may or may not be supported. Usage of Defi products with modified automotive is out of our warranty policy, so please install it at your own risk.

Q Is it possible to use it with a car with modified ignition system?

A

It depends on the points which have been modified, it may be used with the car as long as igniters have not modified.
However, we are not responsible for any accidents or malfunctions caused by installation.

Q Is it possible to install it on any type of car?

A

Connection availability varies depending on the car model. Since Defi does not have information on vehicles other than those sold in Japan, please contact your local car dealer, Defi retailer, or Defi distributor about that.

Q My product is not working properly, so I want it inspected or repaired.

A

If your product is not working properly, please ask the retailer or Defi’s official distibutor where you purchased it to inspect it.

If you are unable to visit the store whrere you purchase the products for various reasons, please contact Defi’s official distributor for your area.

Q I would like to know if an old product can still be repaired. How much does it cost to repair?

A

Please contact Defi retailer or Defi’s official distributor.
