Defi is an aftermarket brand of automotive and motorcycle instrument manufacturer Nippon Seiki Co., Ltd.

The company designs and develops retrofit gauges and displays mainly for automobiles.

Defi was launched in 1995 with the mission of bringing Nippon Seiki’s technology to the aftermarket.
The company has developed the industry’s first link-type gauges, self-illuminated BF gauges, and displays using its proprietary OLED displays.

* Multiplex communication: A system that allows multiple data to be communicated at once. It allows multiple meters to be connected to each other and each meter can transmit data simultaneously.
