Step Graph

This installation manual is intended specifically for the Step Graph. The company is not liable for any damages or injury due to improper installation of the Step Graph, including failure to follow the instructions provided herein and/or installation of the product on vehicles other than those listed herein as compatible with the Step Graph.

Prior to purchase, please refer to this manual to determine the compatibility of the Step Graph with your vehicle.

Please read the entire installation manual prior to commencing the installation process.

Please follow the instructions in this manual. The purpose of the manual is to provide you with all the information that you need to install the product.

In order to prevent an accident, which could result in personal injury, death or damage to the product or vehicle, please give special attention to the portions of this manual where the following symbols are used .

Please read the manual carefully where the words " WARNING" and " CAUTION" appear. Failure to do so may result in damage to the product or vehicle or personal injury.

	indicates a risk of death or serious injury.
	indicates a risk of personal injury or damage to equipment.
	indicates the need to confirm that a particular step has been correctly completed.

BEFORE INSTALLATION


	The instructions in this manual must be followed carefully when handling or installing the product.
	NEVER disassemble this product. This could cause damage of the product and make it unsafe to use. Tampering with the product renders the limited warranty ineffective.
	Before performing of the Tachometer installation, make sure to switch the vehicle engine OFF and remove the key from the vehicle ignition cylinder. Disconnect the negative(-) battery terminal. Failure to follow these steps may result in a short circuit and/or fire.
	For wiring, use the solderless connectors. Insulate all connection points. Failure to follow this step may result in a short circuit and/or fire.


	This product is designed for use only on vehicles with 12V electrical systems. NEVER install the Step Graph on 24V vehicles.
	Do not install this product on modified vehicles.
	Do not use wires other than the wires included with the product. If the wiring provided is insufficient, please purchase more wire of the same quality and gauge.
	Completely insulate any unused wires with electrical tape. If wires or connectors get loosen or disconnected during installation, please make sure that they are correctly reattached.
	Do not install the control unit where it may be exposed to moisture, dust, or direct sunlight. Do not place the product directly in front of or near the vehicle's heater vents.
	If the negative( - ) battery terminal is disconnected, data stored in other electronic instruments in the vehicle, such as clocks or radios, may be lost. Please remember to reset equipment according to the original manufacturer's manuals after installation of the product.


	After installation of the Step Graph, make sure to keep this manual for future reference.

REGARDING PRODUCT HANDLING


	Do not stare at the gauges or manipulate the functions of the control unit while driving. Distractions could lead to an accident.
	NEVER dismantle or reassemble the product. This could damage the product and make it unsafe to use. Tampering with the product renders the limited warranty void.


	To prevent damage to the product, please adhere to the following guidelines.
	Do not drop the product.
	Do not allow the product to be exposed to moisture.
	Do not pull on the product's wiring.
	Do not use cleaning fluids on the display unit.


	After installation, if any of the fittings or screws on the product come loose, please tighten them gently. Using too much force when tightening screws may damage the product.
	This product can be used only on 3, 4, 5, 6 and 8 cylinder vehicles with 4 cycle engine. It cannot be used on diesel engine vehicles.
