The Boost-V.S.D. is delivered with the following factory

MODE SELECTION
Press the
switch to change the setting modes as follows.
SETTING THE DISPLAY MODE
1. Press the
switch until the display blinks "A - 0". The set value is
displayed after the mode is displayed.
2. Press the
switch to change the set values. Please refer to the table below.

Real Mode
The current intake manifold pressure level is
displayed on the analog LED bar and as a digital value.

Peak/Hold Mode
The analog LED bar displays the current intake
manifold pressure level and the digital display indicates the
maximum pressure recorded after the Ignition is turned ON. A
turbo mark on the display goes out.
3. Press the
switch to complete the mode setting.
Note: If the SET/CLR switch is pressed while in Peak/Hold Mode,
the set values are reset after the numerical values on the display
blink for 2 seconds. Thereafter, operation continues in the Peak/Hold
Mode.
SETTING THE WARNING VALUES
Setting the Warning Indicator Light (Yellow)
* If the
switch is pressed twice, the WARNING LED (Yellow) blinks and the
current set value is displayed.
* If the
switch is pressed, the third digit in the digital display blinks
and the value to be reset is displayed. You can then set the warning
value by pressing the
or switch
until you reach the desired set level.

Setting
the Warning Indicator Light (Red)
* If the
switch is pressed once, the Warning LED (Red) starts blinking
and the digital display indicates the current set value.
* If the
switch is pressed, a third figure of the numerical values on the
display blinks and the figure to be reset is displayed. The procedure
to set the WARNING is the same as that used to set the WARNING
(Yellow) value above.
* Press the
switch to complete the Warning settings.

of the instrument. If you do not do so, the instrument will not
function properly.
SETTING THE VEHICLE MODEL
1. Press the
switch three times to display the blinking "d-0".
(The set value is displayed after the vehicle model is set.)
2. Press the
switch to select the values for the vehicle models.
3. Press the
switch to complete the vehicle model setting.

SETTING ON/OFF THE DISPLAY
Display OFF
Press the
switch and hold it for more than 2 seconds to switch the Display
OFF.
Display ON
Press the
switch to activate the Display ON when the display is OFF.
Please note that Section 25269 of the California Vehicle Code
provides that " no person shall display a steady burning
red warning light on a vehicle," except as may otherwise
be provided herein. The exceptions permitting red lights apply
to emergency vehicles and other situations that are not be applicable
to the V.S.D. Instruments. Other states have similar prohibitions
in their respective vehicle codes.
Note that the V.S.D. display unit projects light upwards upon
the transparent screen, so that the image can be reflected into
the driver's line of sight. In some situations, it is possible
that the light from the LEDs of the display unit may be visible
to a person located in front of the vehicle, either because
the angle at which the display unit is mounted on the dashboard
or because the angle of the dashboard is inclined towards the
front of the vehicle.
If this is the case, the applicable regulatory authorities might
interpret the use of the V.S.D. display unit to be a violation
of California Vehicle Code Section 25269 or other state vehicle
codes.
